Overview
Iceland is the first developed European country to recognize China as a full market economy as well as the first European country to negotiate a free trade agreement with China. The establishment of China-Iceland Free Trade Area will substantially promote the mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries, and facilitate the healthy development of bilateral economic and trade relations.
