As showed in Statistics Iceland, the trade between China and Iceland has made a rapid increase in Jan.-Nov. of 2006. The sum of exportation to and importation from China is up to 214 billion ISK(305 million USD), a increase of 31% compared with that at the same period last year. The value of products exported from Iceland to China in the first 11 month shows a tremendous growth of 73%.
Of which exported to China, above 95% are fish or fish products. And most of products from China are machinery, manufactory products, textiles and footwears.
