The 11th Round of China-Norway FTA was held in Oslo, Norway on May 14-16, 2018. The two sides negotiated on trade in goods, trade in service, investment, rule of origin, Customs procedures and trade facilitation, IPR, competition policy and government procurement. Positive progress has been made.
This is the 3rd round negotiation since China-Norway FTA was resumed in April 2017. China and Norway are complementary to each other in economy and the two sides boast a sound basis of cooperation. The two sides cerement pragmatic trade and economic cooperation through FTA negotiations. That will benefit business and people of both sides, raise China-Norway ties to a higher step, and send a strong signal of jointly upholding free trade, fighting against unilateral and trade protectionism.
