The chief representatives’ meeting of the 10th Round of China-Japan-ROK FTA Negotiations was held in Seoul, ROK on June 27. Attending were Wang Shouwen, Chinese Vice Minister of Commerce, Japan's deputy Foreign Minister Yasumasa Nagamine and South Korean Assistant Minister of Trade, Industry, and Energy Kim Hak-do. The three sides will exchange views on topics concerning trade in goods, trade in service, investment and the range of agreement during the one and half day negotiations.

Launched in November 2012, the China-Japan-ROK negotiations have come to the 10th round so far. The three sides all agree that to establish the China-Japan-ROK FTA conduces to making full use of the industrial complementarity of the three parties, digging out the potential for upgrading the trade and investment and further enhancing the integration of the regional value chains. It’s to the overall interest of the three countries and conducive to the regional prosperity and development. In November 2015, the country leaders of the three parties made a joint statement, reiterating to make efforts to step up the FTA negotiation and complete a comprehensive, high-level and mutually beneficial free trade agreement.
