On January 11, the 11th round of negotiation of China-Japan-South Korea was held in Beijing. Chinese Vice Minister of Commerce Wang Shouwen, Japanese Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Assistant Minister of MOCIE of South Korea respectively led delegations to attend the conference. During this round of negotiation, they would exchange views on important issues such as trade in goods, service trade and investment.

The China-Japan-South Korea FTA negotiation was launched in November 2012. At present, 11 rounds of negotiations have been conducted. Three sides believed that building China-Japan-South Korea FTA contributed to giving full play to the industrial complementarity among three countries, excavating and improving the potential of trade investment level of three countries, promoting further integration of regional value chain, conforming to the overall interests of three countries and prosperity and development of local regions. In January 2015, leaders of three countries issued joint declaration, reiterating that they would further strive to accelerate the negotiation and conclude a comprehensive, high-level and mutually beneficial FTA finally. The China-Japan-South Korea trade ministers' conference held in October 2016 also committed to speeding up boosting negotiation, and seeking the unique value of the FTA of three countries.
