On April 7th, 2021, China and Belarus held the first round of virtual negotiation over a potential service trade and investment agreement. The two sides agreed on the Terms of Reference, and had an in-depth exchange of views on trade, investment and IP rules. The plan for the next steps were made.
The negotiation aims to improve the bilateral trade and economic rules regarding service trade and investment, and foster an enabling environment for expanding bilateral trade and investment cooperation.
